About BTD

Certainty in HeavyLift

BTD makes BTD Draft: drafting software that works inside AutoCAD, with crane lifts as its first type of drafting. Based in Melbourne.

BTD Draft does the drafting the same way every time, from the decisions your people make. For a crane lift that’s the crane at its radius, plan and elevation, dimensions, the title block and the rigging sheet, from one form.

BTD Library keeps your cranes and rigging gear in one place, and every lift drafted is kept in the lift log.

For each crane model in your fleet, BTD builds the AutoCAD blocks from the manufacturer’s documents, so the crane on the sheet is drawn at the right boom, reach and slew.

BTD does not plan or approve lifts. Your planner chooses the set-up and checks the figures; your appointed person approves every lift.
